Real talk this drawing leaves a lot to be desired in terms of true 3d design so I'm having to do a lot of design on the fly, I think the closer I get to the core of the robot the more things are not thought through so I'm hoping I can bug some people who are good with this sort of thing to really make it look nice while also being close to functional

Organic Sculpt Subject Pivot and Progress

The first thing you'll notice is how this is not a sphinx.

The sphinx turned out to be really hard to actually see in any decent resolution and as the sculpt went on it became more and more clear to me that the limited views I had of the original sculpture were not going to be enough.

Organic Sculpt Checkin

Here's first check in for my sphinx, I need to clean up the neck a bit and the feathers could use another pass but learning how to apply the feathers and getting the base shape and face down was my main goal for the first week.  I ended up not having a lot of time due to Vertical Slice and personal presentation prep so hopefully I can get this looking more impressive by Thursday
